Quick Print hits the road with Xanté presses

The highlight of the event was the Ilumina Digital Envelope Press, which the company says can print up to 60 full colour DL envelopes per minute along with a 750 piece input capacity.

At the roadshow, which will be heading to Queensland next week, the company is also showcasing the Ilumina Digital Color Press, which Quick Print outlines can handles a wide range of paper weights from 75gsm to 427gsm. The Ilumina runs all types of jobs from four-color business cards, postcards, direct mail pieces, brochures, to in-store signage, according to the company.

Roger Gee, sales director at Quick Print says, “We are doing the road show because it allows a potential customer to view the equipment in a more powerful way. They can feel, see and observe the press in action first hand.”

Gee adds that the bulk of Australian Ilumina sales have been in South Australia and Victoria but the road show aims to reignite inertest in NSW and Queensland.

He says, “We are hoping the road show will allow customers to recognise the benefit these machines can have within their business. The machine is ideal for instant print shops printing a variety of products or general offset printers who are tired of subbing out their envelop work.”

Gee, who is new to Quick Print was previously business manager sheetfed ANZ at DIC Australia, says he is excited about his future with Quick Print.

He continues, “Quick Print is a small business that is doing well, after PacPrint there was an explosion of inertest in these machines and I like to think I’m adding value to Quick Print by offering some direction and credibility.”
