Relevance of print focus of industry review night

Presentations from two guest speakers, banker Chris Caton and award winning website pioneer Tim Burrowes on the world, global economics, financial markets and the role of print in the new digital media landscape will be the focus of the JPE / LIA Industry Review night next month.

Chris Caton is the chief economist for BT Financial Group. He was previously the chief economist at Bankers Trust from 1991 until 1999. Caton also worked in the treasury, the department of the prime minister and cabinet, and for an economic consulting firm in the United States. He was educated at the University of Pennsylvania.

Tim Burrowes is the founding editor of website of the year Mumbrella, which launched in December 2008. He is also the editor in chief of Mumbrella’s sister magazine Encore and editorial director of parent company Focal Attractions.
