It is the first major appointment by managing director Les Richardson since he took the helm in September.
Wilson has spent the past eight years based in San Francisco working for EFI, with her most recent role being senior director of product marketing and strategy. Prior to EFI, Wilson worked for Canon Australia and Heidelberg Australia in various sales and managerial roles where she specialised in graphic systems and production printing.
“Kathy was a natural choice for this newly-created position,” said Richardson. “She is a strategic thinker who has demonstrated passion and innovation throughout her career, qualities that will be critical to the development of the strategically-important growth areas of business solutions and production printing.”
“EFI is a strategic business partner with Ricoh; therefore Kathy already has a strong understanding of the business and our focus on providing solutions that invoke new efficiencies and cost reductions for clients.”
Richardson previously established and spearheaded the Business Solutions Group, and has helped Ricoh expand from an office equipment vendor to print production and tailored document workflow solution provider.
