Ricoh becomes GASAA sponsor

GASAA executive officer Garry Knespal said the move builds on a “close working relationship” between the two organisations.

“I am delighted that we can now cement this relationship, which will enhance our ability to deliver high-quality services and information to GASAA members and the graphic arts community as a whole,” Knespal said.

Kathy Wilson (pictured), general manager of business solutions and production at Ricoh Australia, said the sponsorship was indicative of how the vendor is “passionate about supporting the Australian digital print community”.

Knespal told ProPrint in March that GASAA sponsorships are intended to benefit both vendors and members.

“All our sponsorship arrangements are tailored to the needs of the respective vendor, but generally will include close branding association, themed events, and promotional access to our 13,000 contact database,” he said.

“We’ll support sponsors’ open house events and other information and sales initiatives.”

“For the members’ part they get news and information from our sponsors in a way that reduces the sales hype. The sponsorship support, as well as general vendor subscriptions, also helps members by helping to keep fees down,” said Knespal.

“GASAA’s standard membership fee of $1,250 for a full service industry body is the lowest around and is in part due to the support of our valued suppliers.”
