Roland DG joins Women in Print 2025 Scholarship Program

Women in Print Australia has announced Roland DG Australia as a partner in its 2025 Scholarship Program, further strengthening opportunities for women in the print, signage, and graphics industries.

As part of this collaboration, Roland DG will provide one fully-funded seat in each of its 2025 online training courses for scholarship recipients, empowering them with vital skills and knowledge to advance their careers.

Roland DG’s Academy Online training is renowned for delivering practical and accessible courses, offering participants a deep-dive into print technology, software operation, and workflow optimisation.

In 2024, the Academy hosted a series of online sessions covering essential topics for Roland owners and operators, including VersaWorks software training, colour management and maintenance best practices, providing attendees with actionable insights and industry expertise.

Stephanie Gaddin, chair of Women in Print Australia, said the opportunity was a welcome addition to the Women in Print Scholarship Program.

“I am so delighted to be able to expand the program with the support of Industry Leaders like Roland DG” Gaddin said.

“By working with Roland DG, Women in Print is able to offer scholarships to a broader diversity of women in print and print-aligned sectors; we’re opening doors to opportunities that will shape careers and elevate skill sets for years to come. I am thrilled to see the full program coming to fruition in 2025.

Greg Stone, product and marketing manager at Roland DG Australia, said the company is pleased to be offering these opportunities.

“Partnering with Women in Print Australia through their Scholarship Program aligns perfectly with our mission to empower professionals in the print and signage industries,” he said.

“By providing access to our comprehensive training courses, we aim to equip women with the skills and confidence needed to excel in their careers and drive the industry forward.”

“With multiple sessions planned throughout 2025, commencing in late February, led by expert instructors, Roland DG’s courses will deliver practical, real-world training to enhance the skills and knowledge of Roland operators,” Gaddin said.

“This partnership underscores both organisations’ dedication to advancing education and career development in print and signage. We look forward to working with Roland DG, and to seeing many women, and many industry businesses, benefit from these courses in 2025 and beyond.”

Details on session dates and scholarship applications will be announced in early 2025.
