Rugby star to speak at NSW Graduate of the Year awards

The organisers hope the former Australian rugby captain will prove a major drawcard at the annual affair.

The Lithographic Institute of Australia’s NSW branch president, David Wells, said it was fitting that tomorrow’s industry leaders would be brought together with a natural leader like Farr-Jones, the 1991 World Cup-winning captain.

Reigning graduate of the year Scott Mohammed will also give a speech about his experiences of the last 12 months.

The seven finalists are:

  • Nerida Cunneen (Pure Colours Digital Imaging)
  • Brett Foran (Land and Property Information)
  • Murray Grant (Screen and Display)
  • Erica Mast (Allbook Bindery)
  • Jarrod Morrison (Land and Property Information)
  • Philip Rosie (Graphitype)
  • David Whitmore (Fuji Xerox Australia)

The function will be held in the Grand Pittwater Function Centre at North Ryde from 6:30pm and will include a three-course meal and drinks. Tickets are $99 and corporate tables of eight and 10 are available.

Bookings should be made through Mike Williams by email mikewil@optusnet.com.au or fax (02 9648 1258).

ProPrint is publishing a special roundtable interview with the shortlisted graduates in our next magazine issue, due out this week.
