Self branding – the new GAMAA leadership programme

Run as a three-day residential module, each workshop offers a limited number of places for industry professionals seeking to improve their business and management leadership skills and potential.

The April workshop, Leading Through Change, will be presented by Peter Singline, Brand Scientist, together with other industry speakers, and will explore the constructs of branding and how these principles can be applied to your leadership style particularly within the context of your perceived value to your employer.

Successful product and service brands are clearly recognisable, distinctive and valuable. This program provides an opportunity to apply the same tools and processes that market-leading companies apply to their brands, to you.

GAMAA says doing business in the 21st Century is largely dependent on working with people. The programme has a three fold objective. First is to develop better self-management of change and resistance, particularly through an understanding of the principles of branding and how they apply to an individual’s personal sense of leadership. Second is to challenge participants to think about how an individual you deliver value in an organisation and work team context. Third is to move forward, that is to enable participants to create a plan that is focused on encouraging the development and implementation of ‘your own brand’ and how you as an individual can positively impact your organisation

Meredith Darke, president of GAMAA and national marketing manager at Intergrafica Print & Pack says, “The GAMAA Workshops are a must for anyone who is interested in enhancing their leadership skills. They enable you to continue to improve interpersonal skills and to explore your own personal leadership style.

Cost for the three day workshop, to be held at Rydges Riverwalk in Richmond, Melbourne, is $2950 plus gst.

Places are limited, to book email Karen Goldsmith at GAMAA karen@gamaa.net.au or tel 02 9417 0500.
