The three day national industry conference will be run by The Australian Sign & Graphics Association (ASGA), The Graphic Arts Services Association (GASAA), The Speciality Graphic and Imaging Association (SGIAA) and Visual Industries Suppliers Association (VISA).
The conference will be made up of both seminars and training sessions aimed at improving corporate and client identity. General manager of ASGA, Michael Punch says, “Identify 2012 has been chosen as the theme for the 2012 National Conference as it looks to encourage members of the industry to identify, strengthen and apply potential.”
The key information event will accompany the co-located PrintCom and Visual Image Expo as well as the ASGA Awards Event/ Presentation Dinner. Peter Harper, general manager of VISA said, “With the timing of the conference around these key industry events, VISA and ASGA are delighted at the combined synergy and believe it to be appropriate to be joined by GASAA and SGIAA in running the 2012 industry conference.”
Grant Cunningham, NSW region president of SGIAA, says, “With the world moving forward in so many ways we have to continuously find new and improved ways to keep up and learn how to use them. This is what we expect to achieve from the conference.”
The event will comprise international and local experts from both the display and print areas of the industry as well as leading management consultants. The event programme outlining speakers and topics is set to be released later this month.
Registrants will be able to book in for the full three day conference, individual conference days or selected session times. Executive officer of GASAA, Garry Knespal explained, “We are building an informative, entertaining and flexible conference program so attendees can maximise their time at the joint industry conference and co-located Sydney Expos.”
