Sinnott Bros changes name for market expansion

Iconic Sydney based outfit Sinnott Bros has changed its name to SBM (Sinnott Bros Media), in a move it says will enable it to reach out to the market more accurately with its expanding service offering.

Stephen Cuthbert, general manager, SBM told Australian Printer, “We have done this to more accurately define our services and the structure of the organisation to the market. This will allow our clients to more easily identify with each specific brand and the specialist services they offer.” The new brands SBM have introduced to the group include its Indigo Print Centre which produces digital print projects; a full service creative agency called Point; Pixel Studios which offers photo and video production services; Colourpedia which provides post production technologies whilst combining a mix of traditional pre-media services; and SAAS which produces custom software solutions through cloud based deployments. The Indigo Print Centre currently runs two HP Indigo Presses, the 3550 and  the 3500, and produces annual reports, brochures, catalogues, flyers, free standing POS, In-Store POS ticketing, posters, postcards, stationery and variable data printing Cuthbert says, “We also incorporate print iT technology which is custom design web2print solution that built around our clients businesses. Established in 1973 as a pre-press trade house, the company has over the years evolved to offer a wide range of specialist services that now include media, marketing and advertising industries. Cuthbert says, “We are hoping to gain new perception about where we are positioned in the market place, and dispel the perception or myth that the organisation only provides pre-media services.” “Whilst we are proud of our history and heritage, the Sinnott Bros brand represents an older style of business and limits itself to a declining segment in our market. Our management structure, association with IPMG and continued focus on quality, service and innovation shall also remain unchanged,” concludes Cuthbert.
