Starleaton surges ahead

Peter Eaton, managing director, grabbed
the opportunity to expand into an adjacent warehouse in Sydney's Brookvale when it became vacant. He says,
"Starleaton's policy of stocking what we offer for sale in each state means we
are not afraid to carry inventory – to us is a vital part of the services we
offer. Prompt delivery from fresh stock is our hallmark. The new warehouse
areas will improve this service even more."

Starleaton's growth has come about
largely through increased sales of solvent media and HP solvent printers. Gary
Smith director says; "We are supplying Neschen and our own SDS brands of
solvent media into existing grand format sites up to 5 metres wide, as well to
new HP 10000 solvent printer customers up to 2.6 metres wide. The growth is
exceptional and we approach 2008 with a very positive outlook, new products,
more staff and increased warehousing space."

Water/pigment based wide format was also
a star performer with the company installing dozens of the new HP Z6100 series
printers – the replacement for the highly successful 5000/5500 series up to 60"
(1520mm) wide. Epson and Canon wide format sales were also strong.

Eaton says, "2008 will see Starleaton re-invent
itself once again with new offerings, new levels of service and stock
availability for Australia's wide and grand format digital printing markets.
Our annual printed catalogue, which expanded by 33% in 2007, will once again
grow in pagination to reflect this."

Starleaton Digital Solutions is
headquartered in Brookvale, NSW and has branches in Perth, Melbourne, Brisbane and Sydney,
servicing Australia's signage, display, photographic, fine
art, graphic arts and point-of sale sectors.
