In the label sector, digital isn’t new. Back in the early 1990s, when digital began to emerge as a viable print technology, among the very first machines from Indigo and Xeikon were webs specifically targeted at short-run labels. But as inkjet technology develops, making strides in speed and quality while lowering cost of operation, the label sector is starting to ask for more.
