The expanded line will run 32 pages of four-colour tabloids, plus 32 additional pages of black through the existing mono units. Now in its 29th year of operation, it also operates a second eight-web pressline at its Alexandria site, with two Tensor four-highs, an H-50 folder and six mono units. The company says that all towers are equipped with EPG remote inking, boosting start-up and makeready times, and controlling waste.

At its Sydney plant, cold web offset print company MPD has installed its sixth Tensor Group four-high tower, a T-1400 single wide tower that Tensor says will increases colour pagination on one of MPD’s press lines dedicated to printing coldset magazines and newspapers.
