With a maximum running speed of 760m/min (2500ft/min) the Titan CT610 offers high levels of automation to increase productivity for high volume slitting applications, including automatic core and knife positioning and more rapid set-up procedures.
Atlas says the Titan CT610 has a linear tracking system giving perfect web geometry for handling a wide range of flexible materials at high speeds.
It can also be supplied with automatic tape down, core loading and unloading of finished slit reels.
A range of optional automatic reel handling systems can also be supplied with the machine.
The Titan CT610 turret slitter rewinder enables change-over times of less than 20 seconds between sets and is a major step forward in automatic slitter rewinder technology.
Alan Johnson, business manager for Titan Slitter Rewinders says, “To a great extent, our machines have to adapt to the ever-changing specifications of the flexible materials being produced, to meet the market and consumer-driven demand for more sophisticated packaging materials”.
