Vale: Ricky Richards’ Mark Hryczyszyn

Ricky Richards business development manager Mark Hryczyszyn recently passed away, and a service was held for him on 26 September in NSW to commemorate his life.

Hryczyszyn worked at Ricky Richards for the last 15 years of his long and storied career.

He first joined the textile game back in 1987, working in sales for Rheem Industrial Fabrics. He continued to be involved in this ever-evolving industry and started working at Ricky Richards in 2008. Nothing was ever too much trouble for Hryczyszyn when it came to his customers and their needs.

“He was one of those rare people in life that made all around them feel better because he was there. He never sought the limelight; he never sought to gain from others,” Ricky Richards said.

“He just wanted to help those around him be better. Nothing was ever too much trouble for Mark.”

From a working perspective, his colleagues both respected and loved him as did his customers.

“Mark was always available for a chat and was both interesting and even more importantly interested in what others had to say,” Ricky Richards added.

“He was passionate about his family, as well as his beloved surf club and his Titans football team. While most people could not remember how to spell his name, they could never forget him once they had met him.

“Remember Mark with a smile as he would have wanted it that way.”
