VIIE Video: DGS shows new range with Handtop

Digital Graphic Solutions had a stand bristling with new print solutions, including the Handtop range of wide format printers, the ATP soft signage printers and the TexJet t-shirt printer.

Peter De Maagd, managing director at DGS says the new Anthon range of wide format printers comprise components from  Germany and the US, which are combined with printheads from Japanese companies such as the Ricoh Generation, the seven picolitre printhead and Kyocera. DGS assembles the printers – which are part of the IQ range – virtually to a printer’s specification.

De Maagd says the applications are plentiful as the printer can print either flatbed or roll to roll, for instance wall paper.  Starting prioce is less than $100k for a 2.5m wide, roll to roll and flatsheet printer.

DGS was also highlighting the ATP direct to soft signage printer, which has onboard calendar, so sublimation takes place on the printer in one pass Catalyst bought first one. The new TexJet T-shirt printer on offer from DGS is listed at only $23,000.
