
The Epson stand was focusing on both its solvent printer and its textile printing solution, with Epson providing a textile printing system with a $12,000 entry price, although this doesn’t include the heat transfer unit.
Terry Crawford, product manager at Epson says, “Textile printing is a rapidly growing sector, and Epson is providing a low cost of entry for print businesses to get into this potentially lucrative market.”
Epson’s SureColor has a maximum quality mode that exploits the full resolution of 1440x1440dpi and a maximum production speed of 29. sqm per hour on outdoor banners.
