The annual Visual Connections Golf Day has become one of the most popular events on the industry social calendar, and this year was no exception with more than 110 golfers teeing off for a round of Ambrose-style golf in Sydney.

The event was held at the Pennant Hills Golf Club and was a day of fun and friendly competition, with a convivial atmosphere as participants caught up with industry colleagues and friends, and had the opportunity to make new connections.
This year, Team ExpoNet took out the win, with Terry Bews, Phil Batty, Laura Slingsby and Richard Stehn narrowly edging out Team Signarama, comprising of Matt Fitzpatrick, Glen Rodgers, Derek Cohen and Byron Silver.

Glen Rodgers from Team Signarama added to his winnings for the day by taking out the Straight Drive.
Several Nearest the Pin (NTP) prizes were also awarded – Daniel Mulvenna from Team Ferag won the second shot prize on Holes 9, 15 and 16, while Brett Burns from Team Spicers took out the same gong for Hole 8.
NTP awards were also given to Joel Goff from Team Avery on Hole 6 and Phillip Marshall from Team Böttcher for Hole 18.

The Bradman’s Award for last place went to Team Mimaki, who accepted the honour with good grace.
The camaraderie and networking extended into the evening, with a dozen more industry identities joining the golfers for drinks, dinner and prize presentations.
The 2024 Visual Connections Golf Day was made possible by the generous sponsors including: Manroland Goss (Platinum Sponsor), Mulford Australia (Drinks Cart Sponsor). Gold Sponsors included ExpoNet, Gel, ORAFOL, Rowmark Australia and Spicers. Novelty Holes were sponsored by Böttcher, Get Rigged, Labels Plus, Mimaki, Roland, Sydney Showground and Signarama.
