Melbourne-based print specialist Vivad will be celebrating its 25th anniversary in style, with an exclusive open house event and party.
Following a recent and significant expansion that has seen Vivad’s production facility grow from 4000sqm to 7500sqm, the company is inviting clients, partners, and industry peers to an exclusive open house and anniversary celebration.
Set to take place from 4pm on Friday July 25, the celebration will begin with a guided tour of Vivad’s state-of-the-art large format print facility, offering guests a behind-the-scenes look at the company’s expanded operations and extensive production capabilities, which includes five Durst machines.

“Reaching 25 years is a milestone we’re incredibly proud of,” said Ewen Donaldson, owner and managing director of Vivad.
“This event is not just a celebration of our journey so far, but also a chance to thank our clients, partners, and team who’ve helped us grow into one of Australia’s leading large-format printers.
“Vivad now employs more than 55 staff and our footprint has recently almost doubled following our recent acquisition of the building next door (1960 Sydney Road) to our existing site in Campbellfield.
“This expansion has opened new possibilities for innovation and efficiency. The open house is a unique opportunity for the industry to see firsthand how we’re shaping the future of print in Australia.”
The tour will be followed by the launch of Vivad Web-to-Print Games – an interactive live showcase of the company’s Vivtrack web-to-print system.
Events will include:
- The dye sublimation steeplechase
- The vinyl banner velodrome
- The SAV print lam and mount shot put
- The Vivaframe relay
“Innovation remains at Vivad’s core. In 2024, we opened our doors to the industry – showcasing our facility and proprietary web-to-print technology: Vivtrack,” Donaldson said.
“Vivtrack has been a game-changer – giving clients seamless, cost-effective access to Vivad’s production powerhouse fram anywhere in Australia
“The Vivad Web-to-Print Games are all about showcasing the power and flexibility of our Vivtrack system in a fun, engaging way. We want people to experience just how easy and streamlined ordering and managing can be with the right technology.”
As evening falls, the festivities will ramp up with a vibrant mix of gourmet street food, canapés, and complimentary drinks, including beer, wine, and soft beverages.
Live entertainment will keep the atmosphere buzzing throughout the night, featuring sets from DJs, live bands, and a headline comedy performance by Sam McCool.
“After 25 years, our journey is just getting started. This celebration is not just about looking back – it is an opportunity to sincerely thank our valued customers and dedicated team, while also sharing our vision for the future and what lies ahead for Vivad,” Donaldson said.
