As a result of these moves, VUTEk will also close its Shanghai facility and transition its operation and many of its people to the newly appointed distributors by the end of June.

There are two additional distributors appointed to the Asia-Pacific region. Yee Fu Industrial Group with headquarters in Hong Kong has been named exclusive distributor for China (including Hong Kong), Taiwan, Macau and Vietnam. VUTEk will also soon announce the appointment of a second distributor, who will cover Southeast Asia, Australia, and New Zealand.

Both will market VUTEk’s full line of products, including the recently introduced PressVU 200/600 UV Flatbed Printer, and provide all service and support to VUTEk customers.

Gary Wu, VUTEk’s Managing Director of Asia Pacific Operations states, “This is an exciting development for VUTEk because distributors focused on key geographies give us an opportunity to improve our territory coverage and offer better service and support for existing and prospective customers.

“Like our other distributors in the region, Arrow Systems in India, LG Chemical in Korea and Toyo Corporation in Japan, we have chosen companies that have earned a strong reputation in their respective territories and help us strengthen VUTEk’s presence in the region.

“By shifting our Shanghai operation capabilities to these new distributors, we are able to put important resources closer to the customer”, Wu concludes.
