The machine was installed at Uniprint in the Perth suburb of Mount Claremont in December last year to provide colour digital for university as well as a number of external clients and students.
Print room manager Craig Mackenzie told ProPrint that the speed and quality of the printing had been an advantage.
“Since it was put in just before Christmas we have used it for a number of jobs and so far so good,” he said.
“We are really happy with the results. The colour is very stable and the speed is excellent.”
The C901 runs at 90 pages per minute with resolutions of up to 1,200×1,200dpi on stocks up to 300gsm.
Uniprint employs 24 staff across two sites and offers both offset and digital printing.
