Heidelberg’s Print Media Academy (PMA) is recognizing the potential of the trend of female executives in the printing industry, at drupa 2008 in Düsseldorf.
On June 5, the PMA will be holding an international networking meeting entitled ‘Women in Print’ as part of drupa. The meeting is aimed at women in management positions within the print media industry.
The event has been given an international flavour for the first time and aims to provide women executives with a common platform for sharing their experiences and ideas. Speakers include Marian Salzman from J Walter Thompson, and Shelly Gare, who has worked for various newspapers and magazines in England and is now a journalist in Australia.
“I am positive that ‘Women in Print’ will define completely new directions for women in the print media industry worldwide. The global network of the Print Media Academy of Heidelberg can provide invaluable support in achieving this,” commented Adriana Nuneva, Head Global Marketing at Heidelberg.
