A collection of world-class speakers have been assembled for the 2025 ProPack Packaging Forum to be held at Shangri-La Sydney on Friday 17 October.
Five leading overseas speakers will join several local experts to discuss the future of the labels and packaging industry including the use of Artificial Intelligence and the continuing debate about the benefits and changes to the offset and digital technology for converters in Australia and globally.
The overseas speakers are: Koenig & Bauer Paper & Packaging CEO Markus Weiss, Xeikon A/NZ and North America president Robert Welford, Hybrid Software PACKZ product manager Pascal Wybo, Impack sales team leader Maxime Jacques, and Kongsberg Precision Cutting Systems (PCS) APAC and EMEA vice-president David Preskett.
Time Under Tension co-founder Jason Ross will deliver an engaging session around in-market impact with generative AI.
Other highly-anticipated speakers that have been announced include: Durst Oceania managing director Matt Ashman, IVE Group managing director Matt Aitken, DieLine Solutions managing director Ian Gillanders, Clarke Murphy Print director Benn Murphy, Mattingly partner Peter Fotiadis, Kissel + Wolf managing director Jamie Weller, Mediapoint director Jamie Xuereb, Carbon8 co-owner Kenneth Beck, Print and Pack (representing Bobst) sales manager Miro Williams, and Opal packaging division executive manager Rod Turnbull.
More speakers are being announced in the coming days, so stay tuned.
The upcoming forum will take place in Sydney on 17 October and is part of the Australia and New Zealand Printing and Packaging Week (ANZPPW2025) that also features the inaugural New Zealand Printing and Packaging conference in Auckland on Tuesday 14 October.
The ProPack Packaging Forum will take place prior to the 2025 ProPrint Awards.
Now in its second year, the ProPack Packaging Forum will bring together local and international speakers and panellists for a day of conferencing and networking at the Shangri-La Sydney. It explores cutting-edge technologies, sustainable solutions, and market opportunities in the evolving packaging landscape.
