In its 2007 Color Copier Guide, Better Buys for Business, a leading industry authority on office imaging equipment, awarded five top “Editor’s Choice” designations to the Xerox WorkCentre 7132, WorkCentre 7655 and WorkCentre 7665 colour multifunction systems, along with the DocuColor™ 240 and DocuColor 250 colour multifunction systems.
The Xerox Phaser 7760 colour laser printer was also honored with an “Editor’s Choice” designation in the 2007 Laser Printer and Business Ink Jet Printer Guide. The awards are based on the evaluation of hundreds of models from major competitors, feedback from customers, hands-on testing, and in-depth user surveys.
Xerox also received four “Pick of the Year” awards from Buyers Laboratory Inc for scanners, colour printers and multifunction systems – including DocuShare, DocuMate, Phaser and WorkCentre lines – to high-speed digital production technology such as the Xerox iGen3 Digital Production Press and Xerox Nuvera™ 100 and 120 Digital Production Systems.
In the United States alone, Xerox office and production offerings received more than 93 awards and positive ratings in major industry publications and testing firms including: InfoWorld, Graphic Design USA, eWeek, Government Computer News, Computer Reseller News and PC Magazine.
The company also has been recognised for knowledge management, innovation, diversity, ethics, workplace issues, environmental programs and leadership.
Xerox will showcase its line of award-winning offerings at several industry events in 2007 including Macworld in San Francisco, Graphics of the Americas in Miami, AIIM/On Demand in Boston, and Graph Expo in Chicago.
