Agfa has twin focus

Mark Brindley, managing director of Agfa Oceania says, “Agfa continues to set the pace in both prepress and wide format printing. Our heritage and modern solutions provide unrivalled benefits for printers, and this is clearly on display.”

In prepress Agfa had its M4 Avalon CTP with the chemistry free Azura TS plates, and the new version 7 of Apogee with auto impose functionality. In wide format the new Anapurna M1600 was the key exhibit.

Mike Culver, northern region inkjet manager at Agfa says, “The M1600 has a higher speed, with a print head twice as effective, and can produce up to 46sqm an hour. It also has a pre or post inline white, as well as an antistatic unit just 1.6mm above the substrate.”
