According to Agfa, :Grand Sherpa Universal makes it possible to print high-quality displays, banners, posters and the like onto 60 per cent of all available uncoated media, such as vinyl and canvas.

The Eco-Solvent Plus ink set offers six colours – CMYK as well as Lc and Lm – and eight 220ml ink cassettes for up to eight colours. Using solvent inks which are UV and weather resistant means that the :Grand Sherpa Universal offers a solution for the production of high quality, photo-realistic outdoor applications such as posters, banners, long-term backlit signage and vehicle graphics. It can also be used for the production of indoor graphics, such as point-of-sale signage and banners.

The :Grand Sherpa Universal’s piezo-electric heads print at 360, 720 and 1440dpi. It is driven by the Agfa edition Onyx RIP 6.0, with versatile tools specifically designed for large format printing that streamline job management. The Universal comes in three sizes: 50, 64 and 87inch variants.
