Ross Gilberthorpe, sales and marketing manager at AGS says, “We are very excited to secure the agency for all of G&J’s Platewriter equipment, we have installed four of the 2400 A2 2up-4up devices since starting earlier this year and they have been performing fantastically, we are now able to offer the 2up 2000 model to our customers which is very exciting.”
The 2000 model is pitched at the A3 customer base and priced accordingly, for those who need to go CTP and simply cannot afford systems costing more than $100,000 they can now for as little as $35,000 have a brand new iCtp system making quality metal plates, according to AGS.
At Ipex, Glunz & Jensen showcased the new 3000 iCtp device which is due for release in Australia in August this year. The equipment features new speeds never seen before in inkjet technology, according to the manufacturer.
The company continues that the 3000 system will be priced slightly higher than the current 2400 range giving customers a choice purely based on the need for speed and size and nothing to do with reducing the quality of output.
