Print supplier Australian Graphic Servicing (AGS) is reporting a stellar drupa after it secured four new distribution deals during the trade show’s second week.

AGS has signed on to be the exclusive Australian distributor of Watkis and Faldo, and will also supply Fuji Flexo plates and Bowe Systec.

AGS sales and marketing manager Ross Gilberthorpe says going into this year’s drupa, AGS was looking to expand its finishing range which it signed up to at drupa 2012 with Tecnau.

“We have been quite successful with Tecnau’s finishing product range over the past four years, so it was important to expand our range of offerings,” he says.

“The addition of Watkis, Faldo, and Bowe Systec complement the Tecnau products and will give us the opportunity to offer our customers a wider range of finishing products.

“With the Fuji Flexo plates, this product will give our pre-press division an opportunity to expand the current range of CTP solutions we currently offer.”

With the Watkis range, AGS will concentrate on the PowerSquare booklet makers and trimmer range of products for offset and digital. Gilberthorpe says it will also cater to entry level digital or offset customers with Faldo’s finishing range.

“Faldo offer a perfect binder at an exceptionally affordable price for low volume output, their range of guillotines are also very affordable and all products are manufactured to a high standard,” he says.

AGS says it will offer new economic offerings with Bowe Systec’s mailing and inserting systems and will complement its current offerings for flexographic users with Fuji Flexo plates, with a new CTP device soon to be released.

AGS is promising same day, round the clock servicing for its product range through its team of ten technicians and network of contractors throughout Australia.
