Chris Barton, director at AIM believes AIM Bio-Green will be
the product of choice for both web and sheeetfed Printers, given its low odour,
fast cutting power and rubber conditioning properties, coupled with
anti-corrosives that will see it achieve OEM /Fogra approvals.
The AIM Group burst onto the market in the early nineties
with their industry leading branded Safety Blanket Wash AIM 62C and says it
still continues to dominate with this product.
In analysing market segments AIM identified that a niche
appeared for a high performance natural product of this type, and set about
developing a product that would meet all of the rigorous parameters demanded of
a press cleaner of this type. Over the past five years AIM has refined its
latest offering, achieved approvals from printing blanket manufacturers and the
like, and is now ready to launch.
During this development phase it was also noted that this
product was also ideal for the pre-impregnated style of wash cloth, offering
says AIM a significant improvement in cleaning of the blankets. So much so that AIM claims to be able to
reduce conventional wash cycle times by as much as 30 per cent – representing a
dramatic saving in both time and money.
Radical improvements are noted as:
- Rapid
removal of heavy lint and ink deposits - Improved
cleaning of blankets ( even cyan) - Leaves
the blanket surface conditioned and as such does not require a pre-wash on
the blanket prior to start-up. - No
sticky residues. - Zero
VOC (Volatile Organic Compounds) making it carbon neutral.
