Ian Guanaria, managing director of Aldus says PrintEx11 is the perfect opportunity for label printers to see the machine demonstrated live. He says, “The P7 is a high-end, efficient solution for even the most complex print applications.”
According to Aldus, the P7 features an open print station design and multiple servos, which allows the press to accommodate more functions at each print station.
The machine boasts a top speed of up to 230 m/min and other benefits, such as fast changeovers thanks to the machine’s short web paths, and minimal ink usage, delivering higher productivity and waste savings of up to 50 per cent, Aldus adds.
Guanaria continues, “It’s also a versatile press, with printing widths of 250, 330 and 430mm and the ability to print on substrates, including film, from 25 to 350 microns. Features like in-line rotary die-cutting, web-reversing option, and the ability to combine UV curing with high-efficiency hot-air drying, extend that flexibility further.
“Of just some 55 Performance Series presses sold across the globe, four of those are in Australia and the PrintEx machine will be installed in a client’s Sydney premises immediately after the show.”
PrintEx11, is set to be held at Sydney’s Convention & Exhibition Centre in Darling Harbour from May 4-6.
