Starting with Drytac as export sales manager, Gomez oversaw both the production and sales activities outside of the North American market for all the company’s lamination film and adhesive coated substrates.
Responsible for the launch of Drytac’s direct sales operation in the UK, Neil was exposed to the wide format finishing business throughout Europe and across numerous other international markets, including Australia.
According to Anitech, Gomez’s international experience will see new and innovative solutions introduced to both the UV and aqueous based liquid lamination product range in the Australian market.
Gomez says, “Developments within the finishing world are moving at a very rapid pace. Both filmic and liquid lamination are now having to address the demands of new print technologies and environmental issues as well as offering value for money.”
Prior to his service with Drytac Neil worked for 13 years in the European arm of Hanimex’s photographic division.
