Barry Grant, marketing director, Anitech says, “These systems are set to become the real workhorses of the industry. Print shop owners can now print around the clock as both the 104s and 74s models have bulk ink supply systems which is 40 per cent cheaper than traditional cartridges with each colour in a thumping eight litre reservoir – eliminating the need to replenish inks on long runs.”
The Seiko ColorPainter H2P series printers run at speeds of up to 79.5sqm an hour, and come with the company’s new VX low solvent inks and high frequency drop on demand piezo heads.
The models feature the latest technology from Seiko including a third generation Smart Pass Technology that automatically creates gradient overlaps between each printing pass to reduce or eliminate pass to pass banding. SP3 maximises image quality and offsets factors that affect image quality when printing at high speed.
The DDP processes each colour into three drop sizes using the printers processing capabilities to deliver the best possible image quality while maintaining correct colour density.
It also features Smart Nozzle Mapping and a software management tool, CP Manager, that allows users to monitor the printer’s status, to change media and temperature settings, check ink levels and review maintenance requirements.
