APEX reschedules to 2004

The show will now takes place from February 18 to 20 2004, instead of November 24-26 2003. The venue, Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, remains the same.
APEX organisers, IIR Exhibitions Pte Ltd, believe their show will be able to deliver a bigger international audience as a direct result of the change in show dates.

Research conducted by IIR revealed that there were still some reservations internationally about SARS which could affect visitor numbers in 2003. “By moving APEX back three months to February 2004, we expect a larger and even more successful show,” says APEX Director, Christina Hicks.

Having changed the show dates, the organisers are upbeat about delivering an international audience for exhibitors.

The inaugural event has enjoyed continued support from exhibitors such as Fuji Xerox and many key industry associations representing the print, sign manufacture, packaging, design and graphic arts industries in the region.
APEX targets printers, design houses and end users of sign and print technology, and introduces new technology to operations, production, and marketing and design executives.

The focus is on the applications and commercial benefits new print technology presents. In addition to the exhibition space, a technical conference will run side-by-side with the event and is being organised by UK research organisation, PIRA.

Hicks says, “We are delighted our exhibitors and event supporters are in agreement with our decision to move APEX to February 2004. An extra benefit for APEX is that we have even more time to promote APEX thereby delivering a bigger event for the industry.”
