The ASGA and FESPA HP Awards for Excellence will now be held in Brisbane on 1 October, after the original date and venue had to be moved due to uncertainty caused by COVID lockdowns.
The event will take place at the Victoria Park, Alabaster Room in Herston, QLD and will commence at 6pm.
For people residing outside of QLD that can’t travel to the awards, ASGA and FESPA have organised for a live feed via Zoom with a gourmet platter and a bottle of wine to be delivered to them so that they can enjoy the awards from the comforts of their own homes.
The event was initially scheduled to take place in Sydney on 19 February as part of the ASGA & FESPA HP National Conference, which was cancelled as a result of lockdowns resulting from COVID-19.
The HP Awards for Excellence was then rescheduled to take place on 28 September in Melbourne, to the opening night of PacPrint 2021.
However, following the recent postponement of PacPrint 2021 to mid next year, its organisers have now made alternative arrangements for the event.
“TheASGA / FESPA 2020 HP Awards for Excellence Gala Dinner presentationwill be the culmination of the industry’s leading Awards competition, celebrating the achievement of excellence in the sign, display and graphics industry,” a notice on the Australian Sign and Graphics Association website says.
“This is it – come rain, hail, shine or COVID!”
Tickets are priced at $150 per person and can be booked here.
