ASGA to host upcoming webinar on 18 April

The Australian Sign & Graphics Industry Association (ASGA) will be hosting an upcoming webinar on 18 April around the topic of glues for sign making.

The webinar, which will happen at 2pm AEDT, will showcase the various types of glues used in sign making, how and where to use them, how to prepare a surface to ensure maximum adhesion, and how to store glues safely.

Serge and Nicholas Popovic from Acrylic Technologies Australia will present on the topic, while Mick Harrold of Visual Exposure and ASGA will outline his experience using glues and Vernon Kingman of Kingman Strategies will moderate the webinar.

“With the increasing popularity of channel letter bending technology and less reliance on mechanical fixings, understanding glues and their application is vital for ensuring a sign can withstand the test of time,” Harrold said.

“There is not one glue that suits all projects. Knowing which glue to use and how to apply them is essential knowledge for all sign fabricators. With the latest in glue technology covered in this webinar, and following on from our channel letter bending webinar where glues were only briefly mentioned, fabricators of all levels are encouraged to register”.

ASGA members can register for free while the cost for non-ASGA members is $33 inc GST.
