The nominations are open to any member of the industry to nominate up to 10 individuals who have excelled and created an important legacy within the printing and visual communications categories over the last 70 years.

As we continue to celebrate the 70th anniversary of Australian Printer, we are inviting the local printing industry to nominate up to 10 people,” said Australian Printer national sales manager Carmen Ciappara.

“These pioneers may be retired or still actively working or contributing to the print and visual communications industry.

“We are very proud to welcome Currie Group as a sponsor for this one-off project which is an industry-first. Currie Group has recently celebrated its 70th anniversary and it is fitting that these two long-standing brands will be presenting this exciting industry initiative.”

Currie Group Executive Chairman David Currie says, “At a time where leadership from both experience and innovation will be paramount, it is timely to reflect on the strength and knowledge of the individuals that underpin our industry and carry it forward.

“Recently also celebrating a 70th anniversary, Currie Group can attest to the wealth of people who have vision, are the fabric of our industry and should be celebrated.”

Nominations are open to suppliers, associations, designers, print buyers, printers, volunteers and thought leaders.
