For the past several years, GBC (incorporating Hudson's) has been enjoying strong market presence with their Eurofold folding machines.
Due to technological advances, plate adjustment on the Eurofold machines is now available as an automatic version which means customers can take advantage of easier operation and quicker production time.
Just in time production has become an indispensable requirement of the printing market and of the folding business.
Automatic fold plate adjustment as well as the simple and modern menu guided control unit of the Eurofold recognises the need to reduce downtime. Size change for a new job is now possible within seconds.
There are two main points of difference between Eurofold machines and those of their competitors.
First, the Eurofold is of a modular design. All models can be supplied with standard, manual folding plates and with simple basic equipment. If the requirements of the user change, the machines can be upgraded and adapted to the new situation at any time. Eurofold folding machines can be extended to cross-fold and deep pile feeder when every required.
Second, the Eurofold offers flexibility. In response to today's needs, Eurofold offers a customised solution, and for the uses of tomorrow, the ability to upgrade with other modules and new developments.
The computer supported models offer extremely high user friendliness and can be adjusted to a new fold by the single touch of a button. Manual movements are almost eliminated. Recurring jobs can easily be stored in the memory.

GBC Australia officially launched the newly released automated plate adjustment system on Eurofold machines at PrintEx07.
Customers were given the opportunity to view the flexibility and modular construction of the machines with live demonstrations.
Whilst other competitors also had very impressive machines at the show, the Eurofold system made an impressive introduction thanks to its versatility and uncompromising quality, states GBC.
