Avery launches new inkjet products

Label giant Avery Dennison has launched its fresh range of digital inkjet films to the market, targeted towards indoor and outdoor signage producers and designed to pair with its DOL 2800 overlaminates.

According to Avery Dennison, the MPI 2800 series of digital inkjet films are suited for medium-term applications in indoor and outdoor advertising, window graphics and for flat or simple-curved vehicle graphics.

The label supplier also says its MPI 2800 films ‘combine brilliantly’ with its existing DOL 2800 range of overlaminates in gloss or matte finishes. The inkjet films are available in three adhesive choices; grey permanent, grey removable and clear removable.

“As not every job requires a highly conformable film suitable for complex curves and deep recesses, nor a highly durable film that lasts for more than 3 or 4 years, the MPI 2800 Series fills a portfolio gap for a fit-for-purpose solution that is not required to withstand long-term exposure to harsh conditions and environments,” says Avery.

“This is does not mean that protection and performance are in any way compromised. A confidence-inspiring three-year warranty backs all products under the ICS Warranty Program,” it adds.

Avery last month also boosted its overlaminate product range with the introduction of its DOL 1000Z series, specifically engineered for the vehicle wrapping and durable graphics market.
