Ball & Doggett has taken to Visual Impact Sydney to showcase a range of solutions, especially from HP and Roland, as the company bolsters its play in hardware following its Conect Enterprises acquisition.
The company’s sign, display and digital general manager Rob Brussolo said, “A lot of people at Visual Impact have been asking why we’re here showcasing hardware. Six months ago, we bought Conect Enterprises who had their hardware agencies of HP and Roland.
“It’s a real logical step for us and we’re excited to be partnering with these dominant players in the marketplace. It’s the first time that we’re entering the hardware space in 17 years. As Australia’s largest distributor of printable materials, we find that it’s going to be a step forward for our business and a lot of our customers.”
Here’s a video of Brussolo explaining the move to hardware at Visual Impact:
At Visual Impact, Brussolo took us on a tour of the stand where the new Roland TrueVIS AP-640 resin machine was on show.
The TrueVIS AP-640 features high colour saturation on a wide range of materials from uncoated PVC to non-PVC media. It uses new TrueVIS resin ink and advanced machine features to optimise colour reproduction on vinyl, paper, film, and specially formulated fabrics — expanding graphics to include flags, roll-up screens, textiles, wallpapers, and more.
