Ball & Doggett to bring Colorplan installation to Australia

Ball & Doggett will be bringing a Colorplan installation to Australia, with the company still working through the details of the installation.

Called Portal: A Journey Through Colour, it will feature over 2,000 coloured boxes forming a series of mini-mazes for people to wander around and through. At the same time, special lighting and a musical soundtrack combine to provide a unique sensory experience for visitors to enjoy.

Only Colorplan paper will be used for the installation and will take around 48 hours to assemble.

Colorplan is a premium uncoated range of papers with a toothy finish.

It comes in 55 colours, 25 embossings, and ten different weights and is used commercially on a range of products, from boxes to business cards, paper bags to works of art, and sold in Australia by Ball & Doggett.

“As a creative paper that has keeps pushing the boundaries, there is none better than Colorplan.

Used by global and local brands, educators, colourists, graphic designers and print creators the world over, Colorplan takes us to the next level,” Ball & Doggett said.

“Hopefully [the installation is] going to give a lot of people a lot of pleasure. It’s a paper wave of colour for people to journey through.”
