Ball & Doggett to host wrapping workshops on eastern seaboard

Ball & Doggett will be hosting the Advance Vehicle Wrapping, Fleet and Auto Aftermarket Workshops in Sydney and Melbourne in August and September respectively and the Essential Walls, Windows and Vehicle Application Technique workshop in Brisbane in October.

The workshops aim to provide industry professionals with valuable insights and hands-on experience across vehicle graphics and wraps and essential application techniques.

The courses are designed to ensure participants understand all of the variables involved with this critical application and have the confidence to provide customers with a sound, professional and durable solution that looks great.

The workshops will take place on:

  • 16 August at Sydney Motor Sport Park, Eastern Creek in Sydney
  • 22 September at Supercar Team 18 Racing Head office, Mt Waverly in Melbourne, and
  • 5 October at Ball & Doggett, Brendale office in Brisbane.

Attendees will also have the opportunity to participate in engaging sessions covering topics such as:

  • Introduction and product overview and selection
  • Conversion and production
  • Cleaning and preparation
  • Differences between fleet and auto aftermarket (advance wrap course only)
  • Application techniques and procedures
  • Passenger vehicle (compound curves) and commercial van – deep window recess (advance wrap course only)

As for the Brisbane workshop session, it will provide an overview and hands on approach to understanding the different types of application surfaces including walls – gyprock, painted, flute boards, ACP, windows, and the fundamentals for vehicle wrapping.

Attendees will also have the opportunity to network with like-minded professionals from the sign, display and digital industry, fostering valuable connections and potential collaborations.

Additionally, Ball & Doggett representatives will be available throughout the workshops to provide personalised assistance and guidance.

These workshops are being held in association with Avery Dennison.

“We are excited to partner with Avery Dennison and bring these informative workshops to the industry professionals in Sydney and Melbourne,” Ball & Doggett national manager of self-adhesive and heat transfer film Steve Warn said.

“These workshops will enable participants to explore the latest advancements in vehicle wrapping, fleet and auto aftermarket application while enhancing their professional skills.”

Spaces for the workshops are limited, and interested individuals are encouraged to register early to secure their participation.

Registration details, including workshop schedules and additional information, can be found on the Ball & Doggett website under the ‘Blog’ section or by contacting its Sign, Display & Digital national customer service team on 1300 713 567.
