Ball & Doggett’s Courtney Newman wins Emerging 50 mentorship prize

Courtney Newman, an up and coming graphic designer with Ball & Doggett, has won the 2022 ProPrint Awards Emerging 50 Mentorship Prize, which is provided in partnership with Kellie Northwood, CEO of the Print & Visual Communication Association.

It has been a big year for Newman who was also named National Designer of the Year at the National Print Awards this year for the ‘From Our Family to Yours’ recipe book produced by Ball & Doggett and Southern Impact.

The 12-month Mentorship Prize is designed to help strengthen Newman’s future in print through guidance from Northwood and other members of the industry. The prize provided by the PVCA includes a $1000 gift voucher with the Australian Institute of Management. Newman will also benefit from regular catch-ups with Northwood and other industry members to broaden her network and understanding of the print industry.

Newman was judged the winner by an independent panel of judges who nominated to judge the prize at the time of nomination.
