Stahls’ hosted its first Global Masterclass Apparel Decoration at the end of September, where Velflex managing director, Ben Carroll, was one of the speakers.
With registrations of over 1,500 participants in 39 countries on five continents, this landmark online event in the garment printing world is the industry’s only international event dedicated to helping business owners, and hobbyists learn about the latest in heat printing technology.
The Global Masterclass Apparel Decoration event brought together the world’s leading educators and experts in the field of heat printing, which, as well as Carroll, included Josh Ellsworth, Kelly Walters, Dave Connor, Jenna Sackett, Andy Rogers and Molly Harmon.
On-demand heat printing has revolutionised the world of apparel decoration, sparking widespread curiosity about its inner workings. The event, which started at 7 am EST and ended at 10 pm EST, featured non-stop education with speakers from Australia, the US and the UK.
This global lineup of experts from Stahls’, Stahls’ UK, Transfer Express, Velflex, Bella + Canvas, Gildan, S&S, and SanMar were on rotation for over 15 hours. The Masterclass covered the latest innovations in print-on-demand, international decoration and market trends, DTF transfers, CAD-CUT heat transfer vinyl, sustainable apparel creation, pricing model optimisation, the art of decorating on various fabric types and much more.
And since it’s always 5 pm somewhere, an online ‘Happy Hour’ at the end of the event, featuring all of the international speakers, gave participants another chance to network and ask questions.
What set this event apart was the ability for participants to chat with peers worldwide. Many stayed tuned in until way past midnight or even as early as 6 am. All classes were conducted live, allowing participants to engage with the speakers directly. This approach facilitated real-time discussions, enabling attendees to have their questions answered promptly by the industry’s foremost authorities.
