Dean Cuff has been appointed managing director. Dean started his printing career as an apprentice with Pacesetter and has held most production and sales roles along the way to the top role. Along with two new partners, Dean has also purchased a significant share of the company.
One of those partners is Brent Baird, who has been appointed general manager. Baird also started in printing in Hamilton. His career has taken him various roles in the industry, including to Sydney where he helped set up Australasia’s largest pharmaceutical label printing plant. He has also consulted to other printers on best practice methodology.
Baird’s current primary role is to oversee the installation and training of a new printing machine, which will double capacity for the group through applications unique to New Zealand.
