Participating world leaders and international media learned about the bizhub C650’s innovative energy-conserving technology, as part of a showcase that introduced environmentally friendly technologies spanning both public and private sectors.

The bizhub C650 series features various energy-saving features including SimitriTM HD colour polymerised toner, induction heating fusing technology, decreased power consumption, and reduced C02 emissions.

Japan’s Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry also awarded Konica Minolta the highly prestigious Agency for Natural Resources and Energy, Director-General’s Award in March 2008.
