David Chatillon, NSW state manager at BJ Ball Papers says taking into account the significant investment needed to upgrade equipment in order to keep pace with the changes in sheeting requirements it has been decided to outsource the sheeting services.

He says, “After reviewing the alternatives available to us we have chosen Dimension 1, who is the leading supplier of slitting and sheeting services to our industry and has the required expertise and equipment to meet our service and delivery requirements.”

The company will however, retain a full service guillotining department at its Prospect facility to cover its small size cutting requirements, which it says will provide greater flexibility for its customers’ needs.
