The reseller will now distribute Vutek and Rastek inkjet machines as well as UV and solvent inks.

Blue Print Imaging already has a track record of supplying consumables and wide-format hardware, which put the company in good stead, according to Simon Trytell, EFI’s sales development manager for inkjet solutions.

“With offices in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch, they are well-positioned to serve the sign, display and graphic arts markets,” said Trytell.

Blue Print director Rick Day said: “The new inkjet distribution agreement with EFI is a key part of our strategy to become the pre-eminent supplier to the wide-format and grand-format market.

“This expansion of our product and service line is a timely step forward in our commitment to bring quality alternatives to the market and to deliver a comprehensive range of equipment, service, ink and media to our customers,” he added.
