Wladimir Schmidt, lawyer at administrator Tager, told PrintWeek: “We are still talking to several parties. We are working as hard as we possibly can to conclude a deal and we hope to have it done soon.”
Buhrs went into administration with the Waalwijk-based lawyers in June, after its banking provider pulled the company’s credit.
Tager’s Michel Moeijes, who is handling the administration, previously said that up to six companies could bid for the business. Initially, he had hoped to conclude a deal by late July.
Buhrs is not producing any new machines while in administration, however, users of the equipment can still contact the company regarding spares and services.
