The Australian Sign and Graphics Industry Association (ASGA) will soon be running a webinar around LED signage and its capabilities.
The webinar, which will run on 26 August at 2pm AEST, will be presented by Serge Verhoeven of SloanLED and moderated by Vernon Kingman of Kingman Strategies.
The webinar aims to educate attendees on all topics related to LED signage.
Whether one is new to LED signage or want to learn more, this webinar is not to be missed. How do I choose the correct lighting source? How do I calculate the power draw of my circuit? What is a safe way of designing circuits? What should I look for in a quality LED? These questions and more will be covered in LED Signage – Getting it Right.
There will also be an opportunity for attendees to ask questions during the webinar, so all registrants are encouraged to attend the live webinar.
For those registered and unable to make the time, a link to access the webinar recording will be provided to all registrants after the event.

About the ProPrint Awards:
Power 50
The Power 50 has been recognising print’s leaders for 10 years and it is time for a change. The ProPrint team have been tweaking the Power 50 so it can continue to do what it does best recognise the wonderful people in print and give the industry a chance to come together. The Power 50 will still recognise print’s leaders and innovators and the annual party to celebrate it will remain, ranking will only take place from 1 to 20, the remaining 30 will be listed in alphabetical order. Each person nominated will have the opportunity to accept their nomination and from there they will be published and announced at the annual Power 50 celebration in
alphabetical order. It is possible to self nominate or nominate more than one person.
Emerging 50
The ProPrint Emerging 50 recognises the rising stars of the Australian printing industry. It is not ranked with each nominee being named alphabetically at the annual celebration evening and also in the December issue of ProPrint. Emerging 50 nominees come from all corners of print, but each have a maximum of five years’ experience. They can include graphic designers, prepress operators, production, postpress, distribution, sales, administration and account management. This is designed to recognise the newcomers to print and the good work they do. In 2021 we will also be awarding another mentorship prize with partnership with The Real Media Collective.
Supplier 50
There is no denying that many people working on the supply side of print do a great deal to help the industry. This help comes in many forms from offering advice to printers about the right equipment solution they need, to suggesting the best stocks or papers to use for a particular job. A commitment to quality and fast servicing is also essential for print businesses and is deserving of recognition. The role of the supplier is intrinsic to the health and success of print businesses. To that end, ProPrint has this year launched the Supplier 50 awards to recognise the outstanding suppliers that everyday go above and beyond to help shape and guide the success of print businesses throughout the country. Nominations for this will also soon be opening so we urge you to think about who you think deserves recognition from the supply side? You can nominate more than one person and they will be listed alphabetically.
Industry Achievement Award
The Australian printing industry is blessed with a deep well of talent and we felt it was time this was recognised. This year we are introducing the ProPrint Industry Achievement Award into which each an outstanding achiever will be inducted each year. Nominations for the outstanding achiever award in print will be opening soon. Who do you think is deserving of this rich, exclusive honour?
To help you nominate, we’ve put together a set of attributes for a rightful member of this award:
• Possess a minimum 25 years print industry experience.
• Significant contributor to the industry through board level representation with associations and/or manufacturers.
• Integral to bringing about positive structural changes to the industry.
• Supporter of the industry, even if the person is no longer in the industry or has retired.
All nominations can be made at www.proprintawards.com.au
