Canon appoints Saleeba to head CPP

Tim Saleeba is the new head of Canon Professional Print, as the company restructures itself with the merger of its Professional Print division with its Business Services division.

Saleeba is a Canon veteran who has been working in its Professional Print sector for more than a decade. He replaces incumbent Mike Boyle, who is leaving Canon Australia to pursue other opportunities outside Australia.

“Canon’s commitment to the print industry remains unchanged and we are determined to be a major player in the industry today and into the future," he says.

“Canon has experienced a great year, with record growth and we are looking forward to building on that momentum.”

Craig Manson, currently business services director, will assume strategic oversight of the new merged division.

Canon maketing and sales general manager Tom Sullivan says: “Manson and Saleeba both have close ties with the professional print industry and will ensure the strong commitment that Canon has shown to the market will continue.”

Canon Professional Print supplies and services a diverse range of digital print solutions, including the imagePress, C800/700 and imageRunner cutsheet digital presses, and the best-selling Oce Arizona and ProCut range of wide format solutions, the Canon imagePrograf roll to roll inkjet printers, and the high speed continuous feed Oce ImageStream, JetStream and ColorStream digital printers.
