
The company says Helix allows simple and fast ordering, enabling print jobs to be sent quickly and easily over the internet or network connection, either via simple file upload and job ticket completion, or from a selection of a documents on an online library.
According to Canon an easily configurable user interface makes it simple and efficient for printers to use. If permitted, printers’ customers can manage their own accounts online, reducing administrative time and cost and ensuring all customer and job details are correct.
Canon had a host of printers on the floor including four new b+w imagePRESS systems, which it says gives it a full range of printers. It also launched a new C1+ imagePRESS, the + indicating an ability to print a clear toner, giving a spot UV effect. Also new is a Creo controller in imagePRESS.
